Dr Singh obtained his MD from Bangalore University and finished a
residency in General/Trauma Surgery and worked for two years in India
before moving to the US.
Dr Singh obtained grant funding to develop a hemoststic bandage for the
US military. This research was conducted and completed at Columbia./
NYP under the guidance of Matthew Bacchetta MD. Dr Singh served a
thoracic procurement surgeon at Columbia / NYP for a number of years
and in that time as the recipient of grant funding for the development of a
bioartificial lung. He was productive in this effort which led to peer reviewed
publications and has presented this and other work at national meetings
over the years.
Dr Singh served as a cardiothoracic procurement surgeon at Mount Sinai
Hospital for a year after which he moved to Transmedics INC in the same
capacity.
Dr Singh joined our team in 1/2024 as a cardiothoracic procurement
surgeon
